Job Readiness prepares consumers for paid employment or volunteer opportunities in the community. Job Readiness services allow the individual to develop strengths and skills that contribute to employability in an integrated community setting.
Job Readiness services develop and teach general skills such as:
Consumers work on these skills through hands-on activities, community involvement, volunteering, games, job shadowing, counseling, and other instructional materials.
Consumers also participate in interest inventories to help them determine what type of work they may be interested in doing in the future.
